5. Martin’s Story
In 2008, I had a car accident that changed my life…for the better. I remember it was a very sunny day and an extremely warm day. I was also in a bad mood due to stresses from my new job as a teacher, so it was a crappy day from the beginning. Anyways, I was driving with my daughter, Carla (15 yo) back from school at the time.
She was in the back seat and had her seatbelt strapped securely, unfortunately, I wasn’t. I wasn’t used to belts since I’ve been driving a motorcycle… to be specific I had a GEICO motorcycle since I was a college kid. As they say ”Switch to GEICO for an auto insurance policy from a brand you can trust, with service you can rely on” and it isn’t a progressive commercial.
Anyways, about 20 minutes away from my home, she wanted me to turn the car around for some reason. Arguing ensued in the car. Next, she grabbed the steering wheel and pulled it towards her. Undoubtedly, this physical action changed the course of my life forever.
It is important to realize that at this moment, we were driving 70 mph on the expressway. After that,CLICK NEXT BUTTON BELOW
