Ingredients
• 1/2 cup finely diced onion
• 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
• 1/2 cup chopped celery
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 3 tbsps. butter
• 2 tbsps. cornstarch
• 1 (14.5 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
• 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
• 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tsp. chili powder
• 1 dash hot pepper sauce
• 1 lb. medium shrimp – peeled and deveined
Direction
• Over medium heat, melt margarine or butter in a two quart saucepan. Add
garlic, celery, green pepper and onion and cook everything until tender.
• Stir in the cornstarch. Mix in red pepper sauce, chili powder, Worcestershire
sauce, tomato sauce and stewed tomatoes. Heat to boil while stirring often.
Mix in the shrimp and then cook for five minutes.
