Ingredients
• 1 yellow onion, coarsely chopped
• 8 Key limes, juiced
• 1 (1.5 fluid oz.) jigger tequila
• 1 lb. raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
• 2 green bell peppers, coarsely chopped
• 2 tbsps. chopped fresh cilantro, or to taste
• 1 tsp. ground cayenne pepper
Direction
• In a big skillet, mix together tequila, Key lime juice and onion on high heat.
Sauté onion for 3-5 minutes, until translucent. Lower heat to moderate, then
put in cayenne pepper, cilantro, green bell peppers and shrimp, then cover
and simmer for 7 minutes, until shrimp is bright pink.
